Dylan Mayanja is a rising junior at Washington & Jefferson College majoring in chemistry with a minor in spanish. He joined the Tawfik lab in May 2021 as an undergraduate research assistant.

In the lab, Dylan is studying if astrocytes contribute to the chronic phase in complex regional pain syndrome. He plans on pursuing a career in medicine.

Outside the lab, Dylan enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and spending time with his family.
